Venezuelan Music

Music in Venezuela can vary from salsa to classical. Some of the music is influenced from Spain and the Caribbean like Salsa and Merengue. Venezuela created Joropo which is like a walz song, and an unnoficial second anthem to Venezuela is Alma Llanera, which is joropo. Venezuela also had Folk, electronic (which became popular in the 90s), pop, and rock.

Climate

The climate of Venezuela is that it's tropical,humid,and hot, since it is near the equator.

Food of Venezuela

In Venezuela they eat a lot of traditional foods that can vary from regions. They serve empanadas,seafood, polenta (cornmeal porridge)and sausages,chicken salad, Cachitos (like french croissants). They also eat meats like goat, cow, and deer. For bread the eat ciabatta and Madocas which are like pretzels that have been deep fried. Some of the food is what they had in Venezuela while others are influenced by ancestry from Europe.

Holidays and Festivals in Venezuela

In Venezuela we share a lot of the same holidays. We all have Christmas, New Year, and Columbus Day. They also have Labor day on May 1st and Independence day on April 19th. Also like many other places they celebrate carnival, in February or March.For Festivals they celebrate Fiesta de las Cruces or Festival of the crosses,along with Feast of San Juan which is timed with the summer solstice.

The clothing and fashion of Venezuela

In Venezuela a lot of what they wear is what we wear in the U.S for teens and children while adults often wear things like suits and traditional dresses or skirts with of the shoulder tops. They also care a lot about beauty. Venezuela has won 7 Miss Universe titles ,6 Miss World,6 Miss International titles and 1 Miss Earth.
